Barrier Trial Greyville polytrack 1000m 01/02/2019
st Ruby Spirit (Khan/Howells A 59kg draw 4) This gelding has a nice action and like all Silvano’s has plenty of scope for improvement. Was handy before staying on well, although he had to be ridden and given a couple of backhanders to get the better of the runner up. 59.2 seconds
nd 0,05 Leslie Shadowliner (Wright/Hill MR77 A 60kg draw 3) Strode out well in his first outing for nearly six months. 59.25 seconds
rd 0,95 Cascada (Brown/Campbell MR65 A 59kg draw 6) Strode out well in first outing for seven months but had to be pushed to match the runner up in the straight. 59.3 seconds
th 3,15 Secret Path (Jacobson/B Crawford MR61 S 59kg draw 2) Has hard-knocking maiden form in Cape Town from 1200-1400m and strode out fairly well in a handy position without being asked to do a lot. 59.6 seconds
th 3,65 Master Jay (Sakayi -2.5 kg/Kotzen s 57kg draw 10) Athletic sort, showed zip and stayed on with quite a nice action, despite being green. 59.7 seconds
th 4,65 Harmattan (Kennedy/G H Van Zyl A 59kg draw 7) This maiden was relaxed throughout and was just held together so it was a nice trial and in the typical fashion of an Ideal Worlds gelding he looks capable of improving on his current form. 59.9 seconds
th 6,35 Mount Everest (Ferraris/Tarry A 59kg draw 11) This Skit Skizzle colt was dropped in from a wide draw and was then outpaced before staying on. 60.1 seconds
th 14,45 Call The Tune (Ramzan -4 kg/Dittmer s 58kg draw 8) Green and outpaced throughout, will need further. 61.4 seconds
th 14,95 Endless Moment (Jacobs -4 kg/Puller A 58kg draw 9) Jumped awkwardly and was then green and outpaced, the penny still has to drop. 61.5 seconds
th 31,45 Boulderdash (Ngwane/L Crawford 60kg draw 1) Restless in gate and then pulled continuously before fading in the straight. 64.2 seconds
th 97,45 Calling Lily (Jacobs -4 kg/Kotzen A 58kg draw 5) Bucked the rider off in the gate. 100 seconds
