Barrier Trial Greyville poly 1000m 14/12/2018

1st Collabro (Kennedy/Bosch MR77 A 60kg draw 7) Settled nicely and strode out well behind a slow pace before showing a good turn of foot. 0.9 seconds.

2nd 0,90 Highland Heather (Brown/Freedman A 58kg draw 1) Wanted to over race a little in the early stages but did stride out well and should be competitive next time out. 61.1 seconds.

3rd 0,95 Hey Jude (Moodley/Hill MR71 A 58kg draw 6) Showed some pace with a shortish but quick action which should be suited to the poly. 61.11 seconds.

4th 3,45 Perfect Pursuit (Jacobson/B Crawford MR82 S 59kg draw 8) This King Of Kings gelding is a full-brother to King’s Temptress, who won the SA Fillies Nursery on debut, and he showed good natural speed and a fine action in his races in Johannesburg. He refused to settle here when held up from a wide draw in his second trial for his new yard but did run on well and is still displaying that good action 61.5 seconds.

5th 6,45 Oloye (Mohapi/B Crawford MR71 SBt 59kg draw 4) Was held up and ran on but was outpaced in the finish. 61.9 seconds.

6th 7,95 Jumping Castle (Sakayi -2.5 kg/Van Wyk A 59kg draw 5) Dwelt and was outpaced but did stay on reasonably well. 62.1 seconds.

7th 9,70 Paradise Lost (Pagel/Impey S 59kg draw 3) Still has to fill out. He showed fair pace but soon tired and will need another barrier trial. 62.4 seconds.

8th 9,75 Karin B (Jacobs -4 kg/Impey  S 58kg draw 2) Has some scope but was green throughout and was not asked to do a lot. 62.42 seconds.
