1st Royal Berkshire (Pagel/Denysschen 3yof A 58kg draw 6) This Trippi filly had run downfield in two maidens last year. She was able to get to the front due to the slow pace in this trial and was then kept to her task without being asked a lot. She is a half-sister to the promising Thanksgiving and will probably appreciate a bit further. 60.6 seconds
2nd 0,50 Captain Irish (Kennedy/Miller 3yog A 59kg draw 9) This unraced Irish Flame gelding flyjumped and was then handy throughout. He displayed a fairly big action and will need further. 60.69 seconds
3rd 1,50 Master George (Ferraris -2.5 kg/Campbell 2yog S 57kg draw 8) This unraced Master Of My Fate gelding is immature and was green but he showed some pace and a nice big action so has ome scope. 60.88 seconds
4th 2,00 Reymundo (Yeni/N Kotzen s 2yog 57kg draw 5) This unraced Jackson gelding is not an imposing sort but showed some pace, albeit in a slow run trial. 60.97
5th 2,50 Reactive Glaze (B Lerena/Miller 2yof A 56kg draw 7) This Twice Over filly was slow away and then outpaced before running on nicely without being asked a lot. She will improve over further. 61.07 seconds.
6th 3,50 Little Bristol (Zackey/Tarry 2yof A 56kg draw 2) 61.25 seconds. This two-year-old Speightstown filly was bumped at the start but was not hard pressed to hold her position behind the leading vanguard and she displayed a fair action under a hard hold. She will improve and will likely go further. 61,25 seconds.
7th 3,65 Limestone Lady (Veale/Drier 2yof S 56kg draw 1) This unraced Rock Of Gibraltar filly jumped sideways but then showed some pace and a fair action without being asked a lot. 61.28 seconds.
8th 7,65 Ruby Cove (Arries/Campbell 2yof s 56kg draw 11) This unraced Mogok filly was slowly away and green but she stayed on quite well and can improve. 62.05 seconds.
9th 7,90 Blood Orange (Moodley -1.5 kg/Hill 2yog S 57kg draw 10) This unraced Duke Of Marmalade gelding battled to stay with them and was then outpaced in the straight, but he has a fairly rangy action and looks likely to need a lot further. 62.1 seconds
10th 12,90 Green Jet (Godden/Singh 3yof A 58kg draw 12) This unraced Gimmethegreenlight filly’s stride began shortening halfway down the straight having worked her way into a midfield position from a wide draw. 63.08 seconds
11th 17,90 Lightupthedark (Wright/Nel 3yog S 59kg draw 4) This unraced Strategic News gelding dwelt and was bumped and was then very green. The penny still has to drop. 64.1 seconds
12th 22,65 Tapdance Ally (Samuel/Eudey 2yof sB 56kg draw 3) This Miesque’s Approval filly finished last in her first trial and showed no improvement as she dropped back rapidly halfway down the straight. 65.09 seconds.
