1st Touch Of Magic (AUS) (Wrogemann/Lafferty 3yof A 58kg draw 1) This Sepoy filly is held in high regard. She won her debut over 1000m at Scottsville by 3,75 lengths but disappointed in three subsequent races. Returning here from a five month layoff she showed pace and strode out well and recorded a good time considering she was kept on a tight hold. 58.86 seconds
2nd 2,75 Princess Peach (Fourie/Kotzen A 58kg draw 4) This Captain Al filly won the Grade 3 Debutante over 1200m on the Greyville turf on Gold Cup day last year and finished third in the Grade 2 Sceptre Stakes over 1200m at Kenilworth in January.
