Turffontein racecourse has recorded 40mm of rain overnight to present. The pen reading is currently 26-27.

On the other hand the Vaal has only received 7mm of rain overnight to present. The pen reading there is around 22.

Whilst the weather forecast ahead for both venues is bad, current track conditions mean that we have more chance of racing at the Vaal than Turffontein.

A final decision on whether racing will move to the Vaal main track will therefore be made at 7am tomorrow.
